​A caring and highly qualified dentist is important for your oral and general health. Here at Shady Cove Family Dentistry, Dr. Luke Murphy can comfortably help you improve your smile and maintain your health. He believes in giving everyone the confidence they want. ​Dr. Murphy was born and raised in Southern Oregon. He attended The University of Portland and Oregon Health & Science University. He graduated in 2006 with a degree in Dentariae Medicinae Doctoris (DMD). Dr. Murphy practices a broad scope of general dentistry with special interest in dental implants, sedation, and cosmetic dentistry.
​Upon graduation from dental school Dr. Murphy returned to his home town of Eagle Point. In 2007, he purchased a practice in Shady Cove Oregon. Dr. Murphy has built a new practice building to incorporate new technologies available and to better accommodate his patients. He continues to challenge himself and keep up to date with the latest techniques and training through continuing education opportunities including dental implants, single visit crowns, sedation, and implant retained dentures. ​When he is not in the office, he enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife, Rebecca, and their three children. While working to meet the challenges of an ever changing and expanding field. He and his wife are also very active in their community church and AWANAS.
